Use technology to gather feedback

Sometimes neat examples come across one of the listserves I am on, such as POD, STLHE or EDC. (Names used with permission)

Example 1:  I use, which is like twitter but requires no sign in, is anonymous, and requires that you know the name of the specific “chat” session to find the correct discussion. Students may post questions or comments during class. At least one TA monitors the discussion and can provide guidance or clarification as needed. I generally check the site after class and provide my own comments if I feel it’s helpful. No marks are given for use of the site.  I got the idea to use to collect student feedback from Stephen Brookfield
